Thoughts After Seeing The Winter Play: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

If you did not go see the winter play, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, you missed out on a magical experience. The winter play is performed by the students of Acting+ and the set was created by the art club.

For a play lasting around an hour, I was impressed on how action-packed it was. The set was amazing, and I was especially impressed by the wardrobe which allowed the set to easily flip between the mansion and Narnia while always remaining present.

Every time Murphy Cavanaugh would come onstage as the troll, the entire audience would die of laughter. Before the play, I was skeptical on how they would pull off a battle scene. However, my expectations were exceeded with the creative ways they executed the battle scene with a small cast but still maintaining the original epic feeling.

I loved how much effort was put into this play like the set, the costumes, the acting, and the lighting. It was an enjoyable visual experience. This play was short and sweet and a perfect way to spend a weekend night.
