After not having beef in about 8 months, I decided to try the famously known ‘Travis Scott Meal’ from McDonald’s.
I saw the craze about it all over the internet, and I needed to know what the hype was. People adore Travis Scott, his music, and anything he does really.
The meal is Travis Scott’s usual order from McDonald’s.
“Quarter Pounder with Cheese stacked with Travis’ go-to toppings: bacon and lettuce. It’s a classic, made iconic” The McDonald’s website said.
The meal also consists of medium fries with barbecue sauce, and a Sprite with extra ice.
All of this for $6! I love a good bargain, so let me tell you when I heard the price, I was more intrigued than I was before.
Before becoming a vegetarian, my order at McDonald’s was a Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal, so I kind of knew what I was getting myself into.
When the time came to try the meal, I played Travis’ popular hit song ‘SICKOMODE’ and I was fully prepared to taste the so-called awesomeness.
Needless to say, the meal did not match the hype I was expecting. I know, I know, cancel me all you want, but it was too much for me. The bacon was not the greatest, and it threw off the whole burger for me. If I really wanted a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, I would just get one instead.
However, the fries were delicious, and I never had thought about dipping them in barbeque sauce, so I will definitely order sauce with my fries the next time I go to McDonald’s.
The Sprite was to DIE for! I mean, you can never go wrong with a Sprite from McDonald’s. That stuff is literal lemon-lime flavored crack.
So, the final verdict: would I recommend the ‘Travis Scott Meal?’ Yes! Although I don’t eat meat all the time and personally wouldn’t get the meal again, I would still recommend it to people who haven’t tried the meal yet. You get a lot of food for a super good price.
The meal is limited edition, so get it while you can because it’s going quick!
