Saturday, February 6th is the Dowling Catholic Winter Formal event at Metro Ice Plaza. Though the dance itself was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, that does not mean that the festivities cannot safely continue. The Winter Formal king and queen will be crowned during the Dowling on Ice event (see details here), along with a fun-filled night of ice skating, games, and our classic Maroon school spirit! The Winter Formal Court king candidates are Mack Anderson, Adam Bialzak, Owen Brauch, Elijah Jurgensmeier, Luke McIlhon, and Josh Stanfel. The queen candidates are Mila Alessio, Lauren Havlik, Samantha Hilbert, Kelsey Hoey, Mary Martin, and Caroline Schultz. The Post talked to the candidates to get to know them better as we anticipate next weekend’s crowning.
