For millions of people this year, binging shows has been all the rage. Spending time at home can be boring, but watching shows can always help pass the time. Most shows that people have been watching have been released as whole series or seasons, but the new show, “WandaVision,” is a little different.
Just like a show on normal television, “WandaVision” releases new episodes every Friday on Disney+. So, what is the big deal for this show? For many watchers it’s a new addition to the Marvel series, but for others it’s just another good series to watch.
“WandaVision” has made many people jump right in without any previous Marvel knowledge. Although with each episode, there is almost always a mention of other Marvel movies, which can make the show very confusing. At times, the show can be a little confusing. As a WandaVision watcher with no Marvel watching in my past, I fall into the confused category at times, but there are plenty of guides online to help.
At first glance, the show looks like a classic sitcom, featuring Wanda, also known as Scarlet Witch, and her husband Vision. But, like any Marvel movie, there are many twists and turns. The show is actually a show within a show itself, with an outside world watching Wanda and her family as a sitcom and trying to figure out the story themselves. With more watching, there are connections to other Marvel movies, mostly from “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”
As the show continues, it pulls the audience more in, with new hints in every episode and what is in store for the future for both Wanda and Vision. Each episode leaves you wanting more, just like the outside world of the show wants more.
Most episodes have already been released onto Disney+, and the show is soon to be done with its first season. It’s unclear if there will be a second season, but all “WandaVision” watchers are hoping for more, even other new shows Marvel will do.
