The Dowling Catholic community has greatly expanded over the past few years. This combined with all of the outdated facilities has caused the need for renovations. These renovations will cost a lot of money, which has resulted in the

launch of the Honoring Our History, Faith in Our Future campaign.

The Campaign

The campaign goal is set at $76 million, already having raised $36,010,882 (as of September 26, 2025). With this campaign, Dowling Catholic will be able to make sure their facilities keep up with its rapidly rising student body. They are striving to update its oldest facilities, changes that are long-overdue. The campaign theme is aimed to celebrate everyone who has helped pave the way for the Dowling Catholic community and get ready for the future of DCHS.

The Renovations

Some of the planned projects include a student union that will provide many comfortable spaces which students can use as places to meet, study, and socialize. There will be a main entrance that is secure and where the attendance

office will move so that campus safety improves.  Dowling Catholic will have expanded parking with over 100 new spots and another entrance/exit to 17th Street. A new kitchen with a dining area and a place with after-school snack options will be added. Along with this, there will be more practice and competition spaces . This includes three new courts, an indoor fitness court, and four locker rooms. On top of this, there will be a storm shelter that doubles as an auxiliary athletic court. This space will also be used for school Masses, pep rallies and other events. The Dowling Catholic community is grateful and excited for all of these changes.
