Einerson was born in Two-Rivers, Wisconsin, but he has traveled from Wisconsin to Texas for coaching jobs. He got his first coaching job at Clarke University from there he went to Howard College. Howard is a junior college in Texas that created tons of D1 players and coaches. Drawn back to Iowa, he ended up coaching at Grand View University where he met his wife, Britt. He missed the feeling of junior college coaching, so he went to Madison College in Wisconsin. In the one year that he was there he missed Britt and he left the college coaching path to marry her.

He married Britt in July of 2017, after his first season as a high school coach at Lincoln High School. He was at Lincoln from 2016-2023 where he was the head boys basketball coach and he later became a teacher. He left Lincoln for Dowling Catholic at the start of the 2023-2024 school year because he wanted a chance to grow in his Faith.

When he was getting his teaching certificate, Einerson was balancing being newly married, having a young child, and still being a coach. Having to take in person classes made it even harder to get this degree because for one weekend a month, he would have to drive 3 hours to go to class. He has a fond memory of winning the conference championship and the next morning getting up early to drive to college.
He had tons of inspiration on both the teaching side of him and the coaching side of him. Growing up his parents got divorced and each got remarried. Having two dads really helped shape his life. His dad was extremely hardworking and very successful in the business world and his stepdad taught him the little things are good and is very involved in the community. From those lessons he learned you have to work hard for whatever you do and focus on the little things.

Outside of the basketball court and his business classroom, you can always find Mr. Einerson at Knoxville Race Way. He goes there in support of former basketball player Austin McCarl, number 88. Einerson started going to races when he was 8 back in Wisconsin on the weekends, where he remembers supporting NASCAR Champion Matt Kenseth. Einerson and McCarl bonded at Grandview over their love for racing and McCarl is now a four-time Knoxville champion. So if you ever go to Knoxville Race Way over the summer, especially on Sundays, you might see him hanging out in the McCarl suite or on Victory Lane.
